SIGNED: 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe $66k MSRP, $439 monthly with $6000 DAS (trade)

,

This was a last day of the month, homework done in advance deal. This Rubicon 4Xe is about as basic as can be found with a hardtop. It has the premium audio, 8.4" screen, garage door opener, Cold Weather Group, and of course, colors are extra cost, MSRP $66,165. Selling Price $61,628.

Rebates and credits:
CARB state -$4,000
Ally Financial Lease Rebate -$1,750
Federal PHEV Credit from FCA -$7,500

My 2013 CRV trade was $11k, $6k went into the lease and I get $5k back to me.
36 months, 30,000 miles. Residual value $42,345. PA tax is 9%. $438.61/month

I honestly got lost in the process of putting this into the calculator, as the MF isn’t printed on the contract. (Think this is where Ally makes their money.) Hopefully this is helpful to others in the market!

I added the steps bars myself on the second day…

Ally mf is insane on these, especially when you go standard rate with the idl cash.

Just be aware that youre not really going to ever be able to trade in or get out of the lease early effectively.

Is that because it’s with ally? I’m in the market for a JGC lease and my prior lease was with CC

Yes. Ally should be avoided at all costs. CCAP is where you want to go for flexibility

Ok great to know thanks!

You can’t really say you “did your homework in advance of the deal” if you signed with Ally and you put $6k down….

Ally is very easy to get out of - you just have to put the work in

True, but CCAP would have been similar or better payment and total flexibility.

Does anyone know if the base CCAP rate changed post July 4th?

Interesting that when I posted this, I got little more than criticism from the regulars, yet today I see Leasehackr promoting a deal on a $55k 4Xe for $464 a month plus tax. Hmmm.

But you put $6,000 down on your lease… that’s why I criticized.

So add an extra $166 a month to your payment for an effective $600+ payment. This isn’t apples to apples

Thanks for sharing. This is helpful for me as I’m looking to lease a Rubicon. Any advice on best way to go about this? I do like the $439 payment but I noticed that’s with $6k down :). I plan on $0 down for a lease. What’s a good deal number for a lease with $0 down?

What state are you in? That drives the incentives which drive the payment.

I’m in CA zip 94568.

On a low end Rubi with incentives now ($12250) and $1000 website coupon you’re probably around $600 effective monthly assuming 5% off sticker and zero down.

There are brokers who could help but SoCal is tough. Maybe @Jeff_BeachCitiesAuto can work something.

Autoland in New Jersey is asking for 960 a month for wrangler 4xe Sahara with o down for 36 months/10k a year. What a joke.

If you solicit quotes that’s going to be the result most of the time. Know your target and make offers.

You’re asking them to quote you. You should be quoting them!
