Yikes. That seems high. You are missing some info, such as:
- Discount off MSRP
- Any other incentives apart from $7500 EV credit
- MF and RV
MF on the PHEV is awful, so I’ll probably buy out the lease after a couple payments. I listed Gross Cap, which was a little over 6% discount from MSRP. No other rebates, doesn’t qualify for Costco or NavyFed/PenFed
Thanks for sharing your deal.
This is absolutely atrocious, I’ll brb with some popcorn
Best luck with the incoming comments
You threw away money on the acq fee.
Why did you lease?
OP probably above the income cap?
That’s the only thing I could think of as well
I leased to get the $7500 EV Tax Credit
if op above income cap, would they really be driving a tiguan ![]()
Tons of people making way above that income limit and drive some old beaters that is far worse than the Tiguan you referred to…
OP is rich bc he drives a tiguan.
Could have gotten a Q4 for less.
Enjoy.
Your buyout after first month would still be around $54k+taxes. Are you planning to finance?
OP you did the right thing by leasing the car for the $7500 . Congratulations on your Q5e
I can’t do full EV yet unfortunately, hybrid is my best option right now
Most likely, I can get sub 5% financing over 72mo and lower the effective cost
