SIGNED! 2023 Audi Q3 Premium Plus 45| MSRP $47,570 | 36/15k, $1900 drive off @ $604/m inc tax

Just wanted to thank all you guys who advised against the protection packages.
( @mattevan, @max_g, @Entropy)

I managed to get it cancelled before the dealership had the lease placed with Audi Financial Services, so instead of just getting some money back against my last payments - my monthly went down to $604.

Hope I won’t regret it 36 months from now

All the best !

I’m glad to hear that. Thanks for coming back to let us know your outcome and extra thank you for making some F&I “manager’s” day worse. PM me and I’ll Venmo you a beer or coffee.

Continentals: Some more German engineering at it’s finest. 50 miles in, so glad I passed on tire and wheel protection…

Looks like a defect that should be covered directly by manufacturer, no?

Hope so, going to hash it out at dealer tomorrow.

The cost to replace one tire still does not equal or exceed the cost of the “tire/wheel protection.” Hopefully this will be your only tire/wheel issue.

Hope so but with Continentals seems unlikely they will survive 3 years.

YMMV but I’ve never seen an OEM tire have 4/32” left after 30k miles, let alone 45k.

My original tires (Hankook Kinergy GT) still 4/32" on 2 of the tires (5/32" on the other two, I think) after 35K.
