SIGNED: 2021 Volvo XC60 Recharge T8 R-Design | $68k MSRP | $671/mo Sign & Drive w/ MSDs

Shopping the car (color/options) was a priority over shopping the deal. Very happy with how it turned out and the car is a blast. Special shout out to @aronchi who is a stand up broker to work with. Couldn’t find something within his network due to my pickiness so I ventured out to negotiate this directly with an out of state dealership. One of what seems to be less than ten Bursting Blue 2020/2021 XC60s left in the US! Also combined with pull-ahead for the last 4 months of my previous 2018 XC60 lease ($563/mo on a $51k MSRP) as the cherry on top.

Question: Loyalty is not combinable with pull-ahead (unless it recently changed again)

Your MSDs should be $7,000 and you have 0 drive off in the calculator.

That was my understanding when I posed the question on this forum last month but multiple dealerships that I reached out to this month all confirmed that they could be combined. The internet sales manager at one initially told me that I had to choose between the two but after handing me off to their lease specialist, that person confirmed that they can be combined.

On the MSDs - yes, that’s what the calc has but they kept insisting that their system has it at $8k based on pre-MSD payments of ~$790. I think that they didn’t include loyalty and Costco in that payment number but wasn’t bothered enough to keep pressing it.

Is selecting zero drive off not correct? My lease payment is for 35 months with all fees and taxes rolled in.

Then I guess pull-ahead + loyalty is back (may be regional, though), good for you.
Volvo’s MSDs calculated on post-msd payments. Maybe you are right and they calculated it before deducting Costco/loyalty from the cap cost. Just see what they put into “Refundable Security Deposit” field on the contract.

That line item has $8,000. I’ll just think of it as them helping me not spend that money on something dumb for the next 3 years.

That’s funny that Volvo can’t refuse to keep free money. Not the time this apparently happened.
