Thanks to all on this forum for the research and time spent. Found a Black/Black Aspec and Acura bought out my 2019 MDX lease with 5 payments left and rolled over (momentum miles) 15k miles, bringing my total miles on this TLX to 60k for three years. Car is awesome.
2021 TLX AWD Aspec
MSRP: $47,775
Selling Price:$43,275 (or right around it)
Monthly Payment: $499.20
Drive-Off Amount: First month + DMV and plate transfer (around $875?)
Months:36
Annual Mileage:15k (+15K momentum miles)
MF:.00052
Residual: 56%
Incentives: loyalty - $2500
Region: NY
Leasehackr Score: 8.7
Leasehackr Calculator Link: not positive about all of the inputs but put at 8.625 tax rate
Which also puts you 10k miles past the warranty. Also, I assume you’re separately budgeting for possibly 2 brand new sets of tires during the life of this lease?
Congrats. Drove next to an A Spec TLX yesterday for the first time and it looked great. Very “wide” stance and the diamond LED headlights looked good.
Def a contender against the 3 series and S60’s we so often see here
I had 52k miles on the MDX so none according to my buyout. I negotiate high-milage leases with Acura and then roll over unused mileage to next lease (I had 63K miles on the MDX + 6,000 from previous 2016 MDX). Acura allows 15K momentum miles. I’ll probably do 50K on this TLX then roll over 10 for the next lease.

As a sidenote, others here were offering 8-12% discounts on TLX Aspec. That, coupled with MF, loyalty and $500 dealer cash results in a similar price for anyone interested/willing to do their DD.
Thanks! Well I’ve reached out to the dealer and asked but haven’t heard back yet. I will say - search dealers for inventory. I believe this deal can be replicated with conquest/loyalty of $2500 and dealer cash of $500 and a healthy discount of 8-12% (which has been advertised here on Leasehackr). Please note I believe this program ends on July 6th for the TLX per Edmunds.
This isn’t accurate. Behinds are pre-rebate. like if i had the inventory, i’d be right around the number you got. but they used your equity from the lease return. it really didn’t matter how many miles were on it. as long as it was a clean carfax, there was plenty.
I’m not understanding how the numbers I posted aren’t accurate? Post them into the calculator. IDK I’m sure Acura squeezed some equity out of it but based on my buyout and what a used MDX is going for doesn’t seem that much of a spread. But I definitely defer to the professionals here. Anyway I’m happy and my goal is not to mislead anyone but to help someone get a solid deal, one that can still be had. This company is advertising 9% discounts on the Aspec.
I’m very surprised to hear that. Did the vehicle have accident damage or anything like that? I’m shocked carvana would be that low when most every other mdx deal I have seen has had quite a bit of equity.
No I think at that point I started looking at comps on Autotrader and figured subtract a few grand and that’s what Acura would come in at. Not exactly fine tuning but at that point I wanted to get the ball rolling and take advantage of the current program.
Unfortunately, including a trade in a deal without a lot of comps to establish value gives a dealer a lot of room for conflating what the deal actually is. At least Acura gives good reason to even consider rolling in a trade with the carryover miles.
