Still had 11 months left on my 2018 CX-5 lease, but I just thought for 10.20 more per month without any down payment the remote start & bigger infotainment screen would be worth it.

So you had $1377 in positive equity?

2127 - 750?

Also please tag a state.

Hi,

Yeah that’s Correct about the equity

What’s MF? Effectively $334/mo considering the trade equity. So it’s really more like $51/mo more

Trade kind of obfuscates the deal without additional info on it. Discount seems meh even for Mazda but they may have cut you more on the trade in exchange for higher selling price.

Yeah I’m not seeing the MF on the lease agreement, I’m kinda new at leasing unfortunately, I should have probably posted on here before signing but yeah next time.

Back calculate from the rent charge

Thank you,

This is misleading if you’ve applied trade equity to the deal.

Sorry about that, didn’t mean to be misleading, I just meant I didn’t pay anything out of pocket due to the equity.

Thanks

So almost nothing. Next time ask them to cut you a check for the trade equity

Thanks, yeah that’s a good idea about asking for a check instead:)

I am not sure this is correct. You’ll need to post the contract’s first two pages without personal info

Sounds good, I’ll post shortly, I looked over the lease agreement again and yeah I should have asked for a check instead because they actually applied 3050 of positive equity
