Signed 2021 Kia Forte GT (manual) $223/month - $223 DAS

,

Hello everyone
signed another solid deal for a commuter car. I really wanted to drive a manual everyday so options were a little limited but this Forte GT is actually a pretty fun car with a good amount of standard features. Downside, however, is that you cant get a GT2 package with a manual (so no heated seats), higher MSRP for manual over AT and it sits on summer tires which are not the best for New England winters  Use this deal as a guide if you are shopping for a Forte but I wont be able to give out dealer name as this was the last unit they had. Also, if you have loyalty thats an additional $500

I spent the last 2 full days negotiating with Kia in Miami and they won’t even offer me a base model LX for that price. Amazing deal! Do you have loyalty or some more exclusive discounts to get this deal? Could your dealer replicate? I’d be down to ship or pick up.
EDIT: I see you mention no dealer name and you didn’t have loyalty either. Great deal!

Question, your calculator shows both a 11% discount for the car and then additional $2830 lease cash deduction? Am I reading this accurately?

you have to check for the regional incentives, for MA it was $2330 lease cash and $500 holiday cash (purchasing has different incentives as well). Check Autobytel for your region and confirm the mf and residual on edmunds (that may change as well) Being in MA, they just wanted this car gone…it has a manual (which is more expensive) and its sitting on summer tires. Every other dealer i contacted offered 8-9% off no problem

Why do you say the manual is more expensive? On the website it shows the Automatic being like a $1500 option for the GT unless I’m misreading it?

GT model has a $600 higher MSRP for manual (at least in my region)

Did you debate between that and having root canal or wisdom tooth removal done?

They sound similarly enticing, LOL

I presented them with everything laid out, from money factor, to reasonable discount to incentives I qualify for and they essentially were like “you got that from the internet. Dont believe the internet, its bs.” lol…
Im trying to help out the younger brother to get into a new ride at a low price and man its been tough going this month. Striking out trying to recreate some of the deals I see on here. But I know that persistence is also key!

It definitely took a few tries…some dealers were offering 4% off and claiming they were the best around and no one would go lower. Like you said, persistence is key
