Did not know how to drive stick before tonight. Practiced for two hours in the dealer lot & got it home safely (a few stalls). Needed a car for a few months and this fit the bill

Haha I knew they would go lower than 341! Did you get it from Jim Marks?

I have to say it again for these black on black on black LT1…

Darth Vader’s Chariot…The Dark Lords personal conveyance should he decide to journey in the old
fashioned manner.

They had me at 331 last week and I was pushing for 3. They met me in the middle last night only if I picked it up today. GM said he received multiple dealer trade inquiries and phone calls/online inquiries about it today.

This. With this lease deal I dare say Chevy is single handedly doing more for save the manuals than anyone else right now. Sure, BMW kept the stick in the M3 but like how many will they sell? Here there is an honest to God V8 muscle car for under 40k and I’ve seen numerous people this week on here decide to just do it and use it as an excuse to learn stick. Well done Chevy. Well done.

Main reason I wanted the car was to learn how to drive a stick. My dad taught me a few start/stops but it was on a Viper ACR. Now I’ll be able to learn properly with this

Wow, and here I thought learning on a '92 Taurus SHO was hard (thing had such a heavy clutch and clunky shifter).

Seems the $2,250 conquest is regional. In MI and OH it is only $1,500.

My god I couldn’t imagine learning stick on this car. Whatever you do don’t get stuck stopping on a steep hill with someone behind you! This car spins the tires in 2nd and 3rd gear on the automatic.

Awesome deal and congrats on learning stick! Most people are too lazy/scared. Manual is so much fun to drive, completely different experience then auto

Thanks James! Drove it another hour and a half to NJ today from Philly with no stalls until I tried pulling up my moms steep driveway which I’ll continue to practice on. The real question is… how much money down are we asking on SAL come late June? Lol

It sure is good you can only transfer in state, or the site would be flooded for people to choose from.

I feel like it will move quickly to a NJ resident on SAL with 1500 down, which would essentially be a free car for me and still be a good deal for the next person getting it @ an effective 360/month before transfer fee

That’s what I was thinking. $1500-2500 There’s 0 on swapalease now. Here’s the competition…hahašŸ˜‚

I’m scared I won’t be bored of it by summer though…

I’m signing on a very similar deal as you @M11c.

Mine was $315 a month plus tax with $0 drive off on a 39/10. MSRP was $39,375. Black on black with 10 speed, dual mode exhaust, red calipers and the 20" Split spoke polished forged wheels. i’m picking it up on Saturday. It was about the easiest negotiation ever. I didn’t really even negotiate, I was happy with what they came back with initially and simply said ā€œOKā€.

Insane. Absolute no-brainer. Lock it in. The black/black looks too mean. I’m thinking 30% tint. I’ve also never gotten pulled over for front license plate on my 340 so I’m not going to install one on this vehicle either. Rather ask forgiveness than permission
