Where is the -2871 coming from?

Matching DAS amount

this is rolling drive offs & tax into monthly payment, so negative cap cost reduction (i.e. capitalizing more costs than just car)

For future references, there is $3k included in this discount.

ty, meant I don’t qualify for any special incentives like loyalty, first-responder etc.

No worries. Just want to make sure that the a accurate info is there for anyone in the future comparing deals.

So almost 14.5% off MSRP. In this climate, is this reasonable or do you think dealers are willing to further discount?

9.9% off pre-incentive, not 14.5%. It’s a good deal with current market conditions.

With incentives in all, my calculations were 14.5%.

Yes, you got 9.9% off and then incentives. Comparing pre-incentive discounts is the most useful as different people in different regions at different times qualify for different incentive amounts.

Gorgeous color combo.

Thank you! The exterior wasn’t my first choice, but this pine grey is growing on me. The interior feels as good as it looks.

Oh, it’s pine? Love this color, especially with amber/brown interior. It is not popular though, and dealers don’t want to have any of them.

Point taken, but why wouldn’t you in the end basically say 14.5% off of MSRP after all incentives? To help others that may have different incentive amounts I get it, but if I’m calculating my final payment, I’m certainly not doing so based off the pre-incentive amount but rather the post incentives amount and fees, etc. Does that not sound correct?

Yes and no. When you run the calculations, there’s a place to put the incentives. There’s no reason to blur them into the selling price.

So you’re saying I should have leaned more on ole Quentin?!?

I’m saying you got great and rare color combo
I think there are even fewer XC90s like this.
