Thanks to everyone in this community’s help, deal is finally done. Can’t stress how helpful everyone was here. My first offer given was 470/month to give you a look at how it was initially drawn out and how unfortunate people without this tool are getting ripped off.
Be as specific as possible in the title if you are posting a deal – include car model, monthly payment, and money down.
Include as much information as possible in your post, and even a celebratory picture.
Once you get the rebate check you’re basically at 193/mo for a Premier if your due at signing amount included first month. Great job, especially with the higher mileage allowance! Enjoy it and post some pictures! I am still pretty sure that your residual was 50% at 15k though, not 53%.
That’s the color I wanted, had to settle on white. Enjoy! So cheap to drive around. I think half the people driving them are greenies and the other half are just cheap like me!
I think you are way off…but just guessing like you…i have yet to meet anyone that got them for environmental reasons first and financial second. With CA’s high gas prices it’s quite easy to cite financial first, whatever second. I actually hear “i like the way they drive” as a second reason more often than environmental reasons.
The drive is definitely different, a torque steer monster if you gun it and those little tires spin out quick. The short wheelbase gives it a bumpy ride. I refer to it as the fastest golf cart you’ll ever drive.
Common issue on pretty much all low end evs. I did some research for my eGolf and apparently some had success with better tires but still spin out when they press it…and i do press it. Better traction control is what is needed but i got to a point where I don’t care much about it anymore. Spin away!
