NOTES:

  1. This was the last M4 CS at the dealership. You won’t be able to get the same deal there.

  2. I had a trade in, for which I received a fair price. But I would say I may have given up $2,000 perhaps in a lower value, so include that for perspective.

  3. I didn’t include taxes since TX taxes on full selling price. And even then it’s not representative here, since I saved about $3,000 in taxes with my trade in.

Many thanks to all those who contribute to the LH forum. This is the 3rd lease I’ve done where the information on the board has been invaluable. Also a great recommendation to use LH brokers who really are competitive. I just didn’t use them this time for a few reasons. Firstly, I had a trade, with which a local deal makes easier. Secondly, I had to do the deal where I could get a tax offset/credit for my trade - and I think that must be done with a TX dealer. Finally, I wanted to close the deal this month - who knows if incentives will get better or worse? And even if incentives got better, that may have been offset with a lower trade in value for my current car.

It was important for me to get Carbon brakes as an option, since I think that really elevates the performance on track and is something I wanted to try differently. Not many cars had that, and I didn’t want a white car. If you just want an M4 CS, many more of those on the ground. I worked via email, came in and saw the car, liked it, made a final offer, was accepted, and picked it up the next day. Hanging around with some spare time under shelter has its effects - allowed me to find this deal.

This also allowed me to free up the equity in my car, albeit for a lease in a more expensive car. But the extra cash may help in the short term in these crazy times (small biz owner).

Now just waiting on my final check in the mail for my trade to close out a super experience!

Congrats! Awesome deal and car looks great!

you will love it , I have an M3CS and it is fantastic , and BMW did a great job on the CCB , they are top notch and I have had multiple cars with them

I think I saw this one in the dealership, looked fantastic!

Autobahn BMW in Fort Worth? Great folks to deal with from my transaction. And strong supporters of BMWCCA locally. That’s how I was introduced to them.

Very professional open and efficient. I always expect a dealer will play it the way you play it, or worse. So I never like to play dirty, since that marks the starting line. Instead, I like to be honest and direct. Both our times are valuable. They reciprocated. I asked for the deal to include base MF. That’s how it was presented. No games, start to finish, even in F&I.

Brandon must be hurting for sales if he didn’t at least try to defend the MF bump.

Yeah, Autobahn BMW Forth Forth - they made me an offer for the car but it was much higher than what you got. I think around $1040 per month with 1 month down.

I was also interested in the M2 exec demo they had, but they weren’t willing to budge at all on price (only 5.9% off MSRP despite 2.5K miles on the clock…)

I’m assuming “Forth Forth” is supposed to be “Fort Worth,” lol

He almost always bumps the MF. I’m pretty surprised too.

Fort* haha - that post was less than 5 minutes after waking up… I need more coffee

I don’t begrudge anyone running a shop the way they want to run it. So if they want to bump the MF, and lower the selling price, increase my trade etc., I’m not too hung up on that. I look at the overall deal.

Having said that, I asked for the deal to be structured around a base MF from the get go. So that’s where we started, and the 2 variables in play were my trade and the selling price. But we reached a point where we were both happy - business done.

It was a very strange feeling being in the center. Skeleton staff. I had never met Brandon, so not sure if he was around (I presume so). But I did see Aaron there. So not sure who approved the offer and final deal.

Brandon is an SM and with them for 26 years, so I’m sure he’s still around.

I meant around as in on site. It was that sparse. I think I only saw about 5 people max around in 30 min. I felt like I was the only customer on site. This was Friday afternoon 30 minutes from closing though.

Usually they want you to talk to as many people as possible. It was entirely the opposite - minimizing the interactions. A little surreal.

damn she looks good in red

beautiful car, congrats on the lease!
