14% Sales price 46K. 46K is amazing for this car. I test drove the M340i like the 3 times. I don’t know what people like in that car, but that’s just my opinion
You know I really don’t think so. I also have a 2019 A6 and a Tesla Model 3. I’m about 6 foot and I’ve had many people in the car and no one has complained. The front feels completely fine, and honestly I don’t wish for more space at all. It isn’t as big as other cars, but it’s definitely not bad, especially for a coupe. The back isn’t bad either, it isn’t the best for a long trip, but it honestly surprised me. What really impressed me was the trunk. It isn’t actually that huge (Enough for groceries etc), but the opening is massive. I’m definitely happy with it.
As for the M340, it just felt really synthetic to me. I know the CLA also has the fake sound and whatever, but the really grabby brakes, super heavy steering, and the far more synthetic sounding exhaust noise in the M340 just creates a far faker feeling. It also didn’t feel fast for me, I’m not sure why but it felt slow. Maybe because of the awful sound? I don’t know, just felt bad. I know I don’t share this opinion with basically anyone, but driving the car felt like a joke. I was also really surprised by the sound in the CLA. It is LOUD outside, I don’t care if the sound is coming from the speakers inside, because it certainly exists outside. It isn’t crazy or anything, but loud for a “fake” AMG. I don’t remember it being this loud in the test drive, but it is. Get plenty of looks from the neighbors. The MBUX system is also nuts. iDrive feels way more - average.
I’m not saying this because I have the Merc. I went to test drive the M340i first and had absolutely no plans of even looking the CLA’s way. I wanted nothing more than to love it, it had great specs on paper and an amazing price. I even went back for it a few times, just hoping that I’d like it. It was so much easier to lease that car than this. This is just the impression I got. My test drives where pretty short though, I don’t know maybe I got the wrong impression, so I’d really recommend test driving both.
BMW notoriously under rates HP and 0-60 times. Check out real world tests by all car mags and M340i is consistently under 4 second 0-60 it’s much quicker then the A35
