How the federal credit works out? They deduct it from the lease cost directly? I thought you get it when you do the taxes next year.

Also what’s the $2000 summer event?

If you lease, they deduct it straight from the lease so you cant take it out of your taxes

$2000 summer event is incentives from Mercedes Benz currently

You can do One pay but payment will be different.

Hate to be an ass but your answer is in the word “FEDERAL”. Yes btw this is a national thing, it’s the tax credit given for being a plug-in hybrid. When you’re leasing it’s given to the dealers and they provide it back as a discount off the MSRP.

Federal tax rebate goes to the buyer, which in a lease is the bank. They can pass it onto the leasee if they choose. Has nothing to do with dealers.

That’s correct, thanks for clarifying. I need to disassociate dealers from the actual companies. I purchased my plugin hybrid from Honda which leases through it’s bank Honda Financial and Honda financial passes off that tax credit as a discount.

Mercedes had opened up pop-up stores in malls throughout the country where they were handing off 1000 discounts if you paid them a visit.
