Just picked up a new 40 with 50ish miles on the clock, just before the deadline to get the payment waivers. My wife really wanted white and it had the specs we wanted … it was very hard to find since 2019 inventory was dry. I just searched inventory websites of 50+ dealers (this one didn’t show up on CarGurus). I started at 17.5 percent. They eventually agreed to 14.5 after a couple hours, which I think is a good discount. Smaller dealer I didn’t expect more.Took me a solid 3 weeks of searching. I passed on some broker deals (which were really nice) but most were 50is (wanted better mpg) or loaners (wanted the aftersale rebate).
