I asked the same question but didn’t really get a clear answer. I’m not sure what the states doc fees are that I picked up from, but I know in IL they’re capped at like 170 or something ?
I got some information that they pass through the regusa who does the plates and registration, and I think that’s around 100-150 based on a source i found.
All in all I wasn’t too concerned … not about to nickel and dime for a few bucks a month. I got what I want and I’m happy with it.
