A few people PM’d asking who the dealer and sales rep was so I’m happy to share via PM once I get his consent.

I was pointed in his direction by another fellow Hackr.

I also forgot to mention I’ve applied for the CVRP $2500 and PG&E $800 plus had $300 credited for coming in super low in mileage on my last lease and had the $350 disposition fee waived. I put the MSD and DAS in my Chase CC (not BMW CC) so that is probably about another $45 worth of Chase points… What else?

Only downside is the registration fee will be high due to high MSRP and will have to pay for full 3rd year while only having the car for 6 months at the end of the 30 month lease.

Still all in it’s well under $200/mo with rebates.

Happy hunting!

You did good on this one! What’s the range on it?

Around 150 miles on a full charge. The 2017 had about 115 miles on a full charge with another 60 to 80 miles with the Rex.

Dealer and salesperson did not think sharing his contact was a good idea bc they are almost out of the i3 and the deals are not great anymore… Sorry!

BMW will let you extend for 2 months without any deposit on a car, and up to 6 if you are getting another BMW with some proof…That should help amortize paying for a full 3rd year of registration and getting some extra months out of it.

Solid tip, thank you! Worth extending for 2 months at the end…

How did you get the OL code?

It’s been a while so I don’t quite remember but I remember seeing a tip about signing up for a bunch of BMW dealership emails and I think I got it from one of those emails that periodically send out OL codes.
