Signed: 2019 BMW 540i 1-Pay $348/mo 12k/24mo

,

Long time lurker here, thank you LH for helping tremendously and of course everyone.
Now I don’t really think this deal can be duplicated, neither do I think it’s a good practice as the car I took had BODY DAMAGE during loaner service. It had front bumper and some parts replaced.

Since all things were done at the dealership and documented, I decided to bite, thought it’s just a 2-yr lease…

However on Carfax it showed nothing and I felt sorry for the next CPO owner. Makes me think if it’s actually a common practice but just never disclosed. My sales told me from time to time it happens but they do disclose, and these cars sell fast. Also I worked with the sales for couple months already, once a new car is about to get out of service I got noticed first hand before posting.

Thoughts on the car
It’s a blast to drive! Never had a car can do 0-60 under 5s and this thing hauls! And surprisingly smooth and quiet doing all that. Simply amazing. I used to think heads up display is gimmicky but it executes so well on Bimmers I’d suggest everyone to get it if possible. Multicontour seats is a pleasant surprise too! Overall extremely satisfied with the car

Great deal. Who cares if it was repaired, it’s a 2 year lease you’re not married to it.

This is a great deal. Gosh I wish I lived in Texas and could do this there. How did you get to apply the OL code to the loaner? The dealers here are telling me OL code can only be on new cars.

Well I’d rather to live in a state that doesn’t charge sale tax on the selling price  One pay isn’t the best thing to do tbh…
On the OL, from what I read here it really depends on dealers. In the terms it doesn’t explicitly say loaners are excluded. Lots of dealers do apply the code to loaners, some are only willing to apply the $500 portion from BMW.

Thank you! That’s the mentality I had and here I am :grimacing:

Yeah. I did the same on our X3. One pay for tax credit. Only ours was $14,000 for 24/15.
