Signed: 2019 BMW 530i xDrive $64,000 MSRP $2,500 DAS $347 a month - Decent deal?

Hi everyone. Looking for some opinions and also looking to get more information out there for first time hackers. This was my first deal and I couldn’t have done it without a ton of amazing help and information from @Bacons_C.C. Due to some restrictions on my end, we were almost exclusively looking at dealers outside of Bacon’s normal network of dealers, and I ended up closing on a deal that I had found myself, but negotiated with Bacon in my corner as a coach essentially. I’ll cut to the details. This deal was signed when December programs were still active.

Include as much information as possible in your post, and even a celebratory picture.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 BMW 530i xDrive (retired loaner)
MSRP: $64,000
Monthly Payment: $347
Drive-Off Amount: $2500
Months: 24
Annual Mileage:10,000
MF:.00128
Residual: 66%
Incentives:4750 (Lease Cash, College grad, Loyalty)
Region: Midwest
Leasehackr Score:12.7
Leasehackr Calculator Link: leasehackr.com/calculator?make=BMW&miles=10000&msd=0&msrp=64000&sales_price=51584&months=24&mf=.00128&dp=579&dealer_fee=199&acq_fee=925&taxed_inc=4750&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=66&reg_fee=0&sales_tax=7&demo_mileage=4800&memo=530i%20xDrive&acqFee_check=true&monthlyTax_radio=true

I had some trouble getting the calculator to match, so honestly I just played with the down payment line until I got it close enough but I got it within a dollar on the DAS and the monthly is correct at $347 a month. Regardless the information I’ve written above is the accurate information. I was hesitant to put the extra money down, but I went into this whole process knowing I was comfortable putting a total of $2,500 total DAS so I was happy with where the monthly came out at. Maybe a bit of a waste but I’m happy with my decision and think I did alright for my first time ever negotiating a lease. Let me know all of your opinions!

I’d be happy to answer any questions anyone has! Will update with a picture later but it is Glacier Silver metallic with Black Leather interior.

Looks strong. Would be stronger if you did MSDs in lieu of $2500 in drive offs.

Hope you sent your consultant a nice Christmas gift

I probably could have gone for the MSD’s, but I guess you live and you learn. I’ll remember that in 20 months when the hunt begins again!

Also on a serious note I cannot recommend Bacon’s services enough. He was very responsive to all my emails, but I’ll save those details for the review I write for him once I take a picture of the car.

Congrats on your deal. Nearly 20% off a loaner is pretty impressive. How did you convince the dealer to let the car go at that price?

Do post pictures. What color combo?

That’s a beautiful deal. I’ve been around or in the business my whole life and some of the deals I see on here I can’t even get. I’m tight with a BMW dealer and I don’t think I could pull those numbers. That’s a good MSRP too cars not stripped. A+ deal and $2500 out of pocket is not much. Also curious about the color combo as well. Send that broker @Bacons_C.C a big thank you cause out the door you won’t find a price like that anywhere I know of.

Awesome job Matt!!! Enjoy the car and it was a lot of fun working with you!!

Honestly I just contacted as many dealers as I could until I got a bite. Some didn’t want to play and would simply tell me no way, essentially laughing me out of their email inbox, and others would counter. If you’re in the region I might still have a few decent leads.

I appreciate the offer. I am in the Northeast and at least a year away from getting into a new lease. I am monitoring pricing on the 530i and 540i, hoping to snag a deal next year.
