MSRP was $56,875. Final sale price of $45,166.35 (~20% off MSRP) before $2,750 in lease credit and $2,500 in loyalty.
F&I at the dealer marked up the money factor by 0.0004 but took more off the sale price to net same $435/month payment (36/12) negotiated with “client advisor”.
Virginia: so sales tax paid on full purchase price at 4.15%. There’s also no legal limit on processing fees, and the dealerships here have no shame. The dealer took a $816 dealer processing fee. That’s not out of line here, unfortunately. Some places go up to $1,000…aware of it before making any offers for the car, so I was able to factor that into my thinking. (Adding this fee to the sales price still 19.2% off MSRP for a Sapphire Black/Cognac M Sport loaner).
I think I got a decent deal.
