Signed - 2019 BMW 330i Loaner $304 + tax, $1150 DAS + $2450(7 MSDs) ($46860 MSRP)

I really do appreciate everyone in the community as it has helped me find a lease I am happy with and how to tackle a negotiation. Special mention to Optuna who posted his loaner 330i deal who I used as a reference and bases for my negotiation. I tried visiting three BMW dealerships (pacific, century west, center) figuring that a in person visit would show commitment to negotiating, but was treated like I was asking for a free car. Century West BMW even attempted to do a credit score pull without my consent. After getting tired of the standard sleazy dealership salesman tactics I decided to email a few dealerships with demo units with convenience package and live cockpit with a lease proposal I felt comfortable with. Once again most dealers said that we where thousands off in pricing, but luckily I had a dealer willing to work with my numbers on an aging unit.
I know for sure I could have squeezed a bit more out of the lease and make it an even better hack, but considering the professionalism of the salesman and their honesty and transparency through email and text I was happy with the lease terms.
Money factor was a bit marked up at 0.00148 and not base 0.00128 but the dealership did disclose that from the beggining.

What was sales price?

If you click on the calculator link, the sale price is there.

Thanks i missed that. 20% off on a 330 loaner does not seem bad. Should have raised mf .005 and waived the acquisition feed. I will start looking at these closer.

Nice deal! Seems like the local dealers in the valley kinda suck. Have had to travel for 2 most recent leases, which is a bummer.

Congratulation!

Thank you everyone for the messages.

@NY13 I did realize the waived acquisition fee opportunity I lost which would have made my deal even better by knocking the monthly a few bucks a month off.

Also to anyone using the BMW loaner calculator the loaner mileage deduction is incorrect as BMW now deduces .25 cents per miles on the loaner, while the calculator uses .215 cents per mile I believe.

This was from Valencia BMW, it is an Autonation dealership which I read plenty of warnings on the forum, but I had no issues with them and were the most transparent to work with.

I know this has been said 1000 times in this forum but in case anyone is interested I wanted to share how I approached my search, negotiating and signing.

I first failed miserably thinking I was gonna be able to walk into any dealership and aggressively negotiate, by showing my commitment by meeting them in person and driving off with a car. (Century West BMW)

I reasearched on Cargurus, BMW CPO website, dealer website and find cars that have been in service as loaners for a longer period of time, aging for longer, higher mileage, in the options I wanted (Convenience and live cockpit).

I found about 10 vehicles in different local dealerships that met that criteria and I emailed all of them and only this one replied back with a difference of a 4 dollars a month off which i was fine with. All others said they cant even come close to that pricing. When I emailed them I was very specific on all terms, pretty much made sure no extra fees etc can slip by, I pretty much translated all lease numbers on the calculator in my email, I think this demonstrates knowledge on the purchasers end.
Also I think it helps to email a salesman directly and not their general inquiry queue, look at salesman ratings on dealer rater.

Finally once I got an email with the leasing terms, verified it all matched the leasehackr calculator I made an appointment test drove the car and did paperwork.

List of dealerships I emailed: Valencia BMW, Century West BMW, BMW Monrovia, Long Beach BMW, Pacific BMW, Nick Alexander BMW, Mckenna and New Century BMW.

Hope this helps!

Really helpful post for those of us (e.g., me) who feel like they fail pretty frequently at lease negotiations!

Sounds like a great deal. Congrats!

I can’t tell everyone here how important this factor is. I get emails asking for LH style deals on cars that have been on the lot for less than a week. Every car is different, has its own story.

Just some insight!
