When you add audicare to your lease the residual is bumped up by 1%. So if you have a 50% residual and audicare is 1k, you only pay ~$500 for the term of your lease, not 1k.
I almost had a stroke reading that money factor, but good thing your calculator has the right number lol. Buy rate MF I believe is 0.00080, so only a small mark up from what you got
This is simply not true. Go into your calculator and apply 10 MSD’s and see for yourself
There was definitely some room for improvement ($0 down, Audi care situation as mentioned by Muwa, MSD’s, MF, etc.). But it’s an OK deal overall considering that ridiculous $1200 registration and tax thing for your state.
This is a good deal but can be even sweeter if the dealer lets you use MSD. I just leased my S4 and applied max MSD and saved another $70 a month. The dealer is just lying to you if they say that your getting the best deal already. My MF after the MSDs were .00015
Your calculator doesn’t seem to match your details. Is the $1k down a cap cost reduction in addition to the fees you paid? As others have said, it sounds like your dealer was just being lazy, you could have applied MSDs.
You’re right there was a $1000 rebate I forgot to include on the price reduction part. And the down payment wasn’t a capital adjustment it went straight off the bottom line.
Well the reason why I asked how much down you can roll in taxes and fees. Yes 1k rebate is virtually cash off so that’s a discount or money down depending how one sees it.
I advise not to put 3 to 4 or even more grand down as God forbid the vehicle gets totaled you will be out any money down virtually down. It will be a wash.
Never mentioned this but I signed this. I should have pushed for MSD’s after they told me they couldn’t. But all in all I’ll take these lessons into account the next lease… 3 years from now.
