Signed-2019 Acura MDX SH-AWD Base MSRP $47,295; $2K DAS and $347 + Tax (Includes Loyalty)

I’m looking at a couple of demo 2019 MDX w/Tech for a 36/10 lease, any advice on how much discount I should be aiming for on the sales price pre-incentive? One has approximately 3500 miles and second about 5500. Thanks.

Hey I just got a 2019 base for $459 per month zero due at sign just first month payment. It is 36 months with 15k miles per annually. I thought this was a really good deal. The Msrp was $47k and price in lease is $37k. Needs to happen this weekend. It was route 22 Springfield Acura. I emailed back and forth with them until I was good with the numbers and then picked it up and signed last night.

Thank for sharing, but I don’t think that’s a great deal. Including incentive of $8500, they discounted the car for you by only $1500 which is just 3% off the MSRP. This was one of the two dealers I spoke with and the best they offered was $4,500 discount (before incentives) on the Tech Package model priced at $52.5K. I was asking for a 6K discount.

Hey Raj, tell me what other dealer is giving this lease deal. Regardless of all of the inputs.

Hey Raj

I was in contact with the same dealer and this is what they mentioned to me but 411 seems too good to be true for a 2020 MDX base - read reviews and a lot of bait and switch however this is what I was quoted

MSRP is 47,295
Zero down
Taxes and fees upfront $2800 l
18k miles per year for 36 months
$411
MF is .00225
RV 59%.

I don’t even see how 411 is possible at 18k/yr with that MF. Get an actual lease sheet.

Good point - too good to be true - waiting for the bait and switch - another dealer close to me said $475 with 15k miles

@Lostinspace Agree with Chris, the numbers dealer gave you seems unrealistic on a 2020 model. There’s no way RV can be 59% on a 3 year MDX with 18K miles.

I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. There are 2 dealers I am actively working with to get to the following numbers:
2019 MDX w/tech package
MSRP: $52.5K
Discounted price (before incentives): $46K
Final Selling Price (after incentives): $37.5K
Term: 36/12k
Monthly Payment with $0 down including NJ tax: $500
The best offer I have so far is around $550 / month.

The MF absolutely kills these leases. 60-70% of the lease cost will be rent charge. I’d refinance to a loan once able to.

I looked into one of these the mf is like 5.4%, aka close to $100+ a month extra compared to a normal mf of 2.5%

How about this deal

Base 2019 MDX with heated steering
Msrp - 47,695
residual is 25,278.35
MF is .00225.
$2800 breaks down as follows: 425 first month-1063.77 sales tax-399 dmv-498 doc fee-32.99 tax on doc fee-7.50 tire tax- 373.73 cap cost red.

I tried my best to put your numbers in the calculator, see for yourself how it looks and adjust the miles if I have them wrong:

The extra $400 dealer is charging you in tax on doc fee and Cap reduction fee, I combined that into total dealer fee.

I tried going to my dealer with some of these numbers from the Labor Day sale in VA above, and the best they came back with was “we are at $542 per month with $1300 due at signing on a new, Base 2019 MDX”. I didn’t even ask for details on the numbers they are using since they are so far off.
