Service Under Lease…where can I take the car

Hi there! I live in Essex Co. NJ and looking to lease 2 cars. If I go through a broker, I’m concerned the dealer leasing the vehicle will be far from home. Which leads me to ask, does it even matter where the lessor is located when it comes to servicing the car for those issues under warranty? Can I just take it to any dealer? Or will it depend on the terms of the lease?

You can take it to any dealer of that make as well as turn it in to any dealer in that network across the country.

You can take a leased car and get it serviced anywhere in the country. The only issue is that some dealers may not provide loaner cars to you if they were bought elsewhere.

Some dealers will not take the car. I heard things like, I have no dates available for you, we are very busy with our customers.
