Selling To Autonation (Online Offer) - Logistical Questions

I recently sold my 440i to AutoNation. Greatest experience ever. And they paid off BMW super quick, I think like two business days. Just call the store that’s 3 hours away and confirm if they can buy it - I’m pretty sure they can, the offer is good at any AutoNation dealer. I wish they could come pick up the car, but very slim chance they will.

Local dealers were willing to come within $500 no problem.

Thanks everyone for the help and input!

2019 Corvette LT1
4023 Miles
MSRP: $62,270

Offer: $56500

Payoff: $41652.88

Equity: $14,487.12 divided by 2 as my father in law and I went in as partners on this one back in August 2019.

Great car and so happy to have owned it, but doesn’t fit into the family equation as much anymore. On to the next one!

@JD81 does this require a logo refresh with a 392?

I think you have an incorrect number here.

Corrected thanks!

So what was the overall net? I think maybe 22 payments by now? 600x22=13,200 + 1200 DAS = 14,400. So you guys got a free corvette for 2 years. Is that about right? Just insurance and maintenance.

Close!

22 Payments but the first was covered in the DAS.

22x600 + $600 (Doc Fee) = $13,800. 600 was inclusive of 6.25% sales tax.

  • Excise Tax and Insurance (less than $400 annually for insurance)

Only had to do one oil change due to the miles. That was covered for free.

Bought wheel and tire for somewhere between $500-600. Not sure if we’ll go through the effort of recouping the prorated amount. We bought this separately so I left it outside of the payments and DAS.

Will get an excise tax abatement for the remainder of 2021.
