Hi, I’d like to sell my Audi that is being leased. I understand that I need to sell it to an Audi affiliated dealership for the lower payoff. I got a quote from an Audi dealership, Autonation (who tell me they can get the lower payoff), RODO, and Equityhacker. Are there any other entities I can get a quote that get the lower payoff when I sell?

Get quotes from multiple Audi, VW and possibly Porsche dealers

Rodo was the lowest offer on my 2021 Audi Etron. Autonation came in as the highest offer but my understanding is they charge a fee to process the buyout. I’m on the eastcoast though.

I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean by lower payoff amount? I have an Audi lease I was about to sell to Carvana. Am I missing something? They offered me $10k and change above my payoff amount I got quoted from Audi. It was a higher offer than any others.

This was not my experience when selling my etron to an autonation dealer.

Audi quoted you the number for you to buy it. Audi will quote Carvana a much higher number for them to buy it.

FYI - Rodo charges a fee too to pay their dealership to buy it too… they didn’t disclose it up front and were pretty slimy.

I’m trying to do the same with my S4 lease and actually found a new car I want at a Porsche dealer. Reached out to see if they can buy out my lease and apply the difference to the new car.

Would love to hear how yours works out since I’m in SoCal too. Thank you!

I called carvana they said that’s not the case and the payoff would be very close to what mine is

If so, go for it!

Others have posted differently and Audi has already burned them.

Won’t know till you actually go through with it. But based on Carvana’s past history, hope for the best but plan for the worst.
