Scored a TRUE UNICORN Mercedes! Less than .5% of MSRP before taxes!

Hey LeaseHckr Crowd just scored one of my best lease deals ever. I am a Broker here and been Hacking since 2008.

This one is up there at with the $90 a month X3 I got in late 2000s.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 GLA250 4matic AMG Night Package w/maintenance rolled included.
MSRP: $ 46500
Monthly Payment: $ 276
Drive-Off Amount: $ 1st month
Months: 36
Annual Mileage: 10
MF: .00002
Residual: 55
Leasehackr Score: 15

Residual is incorrect, should be 55% for 10k. MF is 0.00002.
Also you need to fix calculator to 10k miles, it says 12k.
Congratulations. Very good deal

Did they extend lease support for 2019s?

Curious the breakdown of discount vs incentive.

Good deal. Unicorn seems overused.

I guess they are doing the infiniti pricing strategy.

Fixed the errors. Thanks for pointing out. $276 payment.

Yes they did extend. No incentives needed was just a written down loaner.

Wow this a great deal !

@Trato what’s the LH score you need to define a unicorn? I am under the impression anything with a payment at .5% using the 1 percent rule.

In before mllcb, 1% rule doesn’t matter, a 1% Porsche lease is substantially better than a 1% Volvo lease, so his school of thought is that the blanket rule does not matter.

I guess he is right, a 1% Tundra or Taco would be horrendous.

However, F that, awesome deal dude, enjoy!

Id say a unicorn is a $20 a month cruze back in the day. Or i had a $75/month i3 with $0das (plus state rebates in the pocket). Don’t get me wrong very well done.

Great deal, but that car is as bland and boring as they come. Mercedes literally put zeroooo effort into styling that ride. The AMG helps a little but it reminds me of a car that would be made by kia.

I don’t think there is any absolute threshold that defines a unicorn or not, but rather the attributes that make a deal irreplicable. Usually this comes down to a combination of some of the following attributes: really good RV, an incredible discount because a dealer wants to move a unit, generous incentives provided from the manufacturer, etc.

Think about it this way: it is a lot easier to score a Tundra for under $300 than a Mercedes, BMW, or Volvo (in some circumstances).

@Trato money back from Fed rebate is insane.

I remember with that $90 x3 they actually had to roll in accessories from the dealer to get the sales price above residual.

I think the proper unit of measurement is how many dealers blacklist you for asking them to match the deal.

I did get a GLA250 @

$219 w/ $219 42k msrp.

Hated the car so I passed on it.

Unicorn = my free Chevy Bolt after state rebates.

His is effective $226 before taxes, so not that far.
Was it worse than a Buick Encore now ?
