Score of ~104 for 2017 Chevy Equinox LS FWD in Bay Area

I took advantage of the current stackable promotions GM is running, and got a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD.

The deal wouldn’t go through with the selling price as is since the adj. cap cost was lower than the residual, so the sales prices was adjusted up and I was given a credit in parts or service to cover the $100 difference.

Total payment was a hair over $1700 taking into account the credit.

I bugged @ChevyPhil to let me know when the bonus tag vehicles would hit and (safely) raced down to San Jose to take advantage of the deal as soon as the manager at the dealer tagged the cars. Highly recommend dealing with him, straight up and friendly guy.

I was in and out quickly, with only the hiccup being with the sales price but the dealership handled it well.

That’s almost like a free car for two years  When does your Asian lease expire? Any other fees like doc fee, taxes etc?

And I think this is a better deal than the resident expert @senwia

I have a Nissan lease that runs out in July 2017. I just brought in my current registration showing lessor as Nissan Infiniti LT with the make and model

Perfect thanks for the info. Great deal. Sooner or later someone is going to post a deal where they get money back for leasing

Congrats on a great lease, enjoy the car! I got my father an Equinox LS as a second car last month; now I wish I would have waited until this month. @vhooloo I’m tempted to get a couple of these just for the heck of it.

Where I live, Getaround offers guaranteed monthly earnings of $200 so I am going to list one of my cars for use on the service during this period and it’ll cover what is essentially ~$70 a month broken down plus insurance with a profit.

Rental car arbitrage!

Nice. GM is creating lots of little rental car entrepreneurs.
