There are a few deals posted here. IIRC, the effective monthly for an X1 isn’t that much better than what you were offered for the 500e (although I imagine the X1 is probably a much more useful car).
hey guys i need help as well . i leased the new tesla model 3 highland 2024 version. i think with taxes the car is 45000 and on the website it says 38000 now
i think i got screwed over by their misleasing website.
im paying around 573 per month for 24 months and payed about 4600 down. 15k miles
i would really appreciate if someone could guide me
I would suggest creating your own post.
I rarely see a fiat on the road these days and and a fiat 500e is probably never going to sell unless they get rid of them at $99 bucks a month. The cost of this car and the distance these go is hilarious…until they give these away they arent going to sell, maybe outside the US yes, but not here anytime soon.
Just imagine with the ev credit paying $600 a month??
Nah, it’ll be similar to Mini SE. They will sell at $200-300/month.
Will see. If sales dont move in the next 6 months youll see 100 to 150 on those.
The mini SE is another. Havent seen any on the road. They claim about 115 miles a charge, add in a hot summer day and youll be lucky to get 70 miles out of a charge. Not worth the price to mileage ratio at all.
Go buy a used 500 Abarth with the manual. At least then you’ll have a somewhat cool Fiat lol
a guy at my office has one, the exhaust sounds so hilarious for being such a small car
Unless you know what to look for, you will not notice it since it shares the same body as ice mini cooper.
It’s Mini Cooper, the one who buy them knows the limited range issue. They buy them because it’s a mini.
Alright team - Wife and I just leased the 2024 Mini SE, this was super informative for us and thank you for all the insight! Now we just have to find a second car that’s a little bigger
It’s actually wild how many 500s we have in our area - just driving a couple of miles to work we’ll spot about 5! Same thing with the Minis. It must be the area that we live in - Los Feliz / Silverlake CA
Gah, I would love to see that price on the Fiat, would be amazing!
I think for the range on the Mini it’s supposed to be on the conservative side, but we shall see… I’ll be taking down the mileage / charge and get an avg. AFAIK the hotter the weather the better for the batteries.
Please consider posting it on the signed section so other can see what deal is possible for mini se now.
For the 2nd car, what about the Polestar 2 with the $299/mo costco deal?
This happens every time someone gets a new car ** . All of a sudden you see your car everywhere. That’s because before you didn’t notice or care, now you do. But they were always there.
** Obviously not applicable to exotic or other ultra unique cars.
Congratulations, What kind of deal you got on the Mini?
It would be cheaper to buy this than lease it.
Costs $99/month, so factor that into your budget.
So I test drove the 500e earlier this week… loved it, then asked the sales manager if/when they’re doing any lease deals on these (like the old $69/$99 per month deals); he said no, and that they leased one for $700 a month!!
Not sure who got that; it’s a great car but that’s an obscene price (insanely high).
I a thinking these will hit $199/mo or maybe less in the next year or two (if Fiat is actually serious about moving them)
But at that price; I’m wondering a hypothetical (I’ve never leased before so sorry if these are silly questions)
-
Leasing seems to make sense due to the $7,500 tax credit for lease only, but I’d like to have the vehicle for 4 years instead of 3. Does that (or should that) make any big impact on the monthly payment (4 years vs 3 years)?
-
I would want to use this as a commuter; possibly 18k-20k miles per year. Will many companies do that many miles on a car like this?
-
Can you do a lease that exceeds the manufacturer warranty? What about tire replacement; would that be on me to pay for?
-
What would a hypothetical lease deal on that look like (using $199/mo plus let’s say $3000 down and 12k miles per year 3y being the “standard” deal; and then extending it to 4 years, 18k miles per year)?
Basically, I like the idea of owning the best years of this car, and then releasing it back to the dealer with a lot of miles and having 0 risk for battery replacement. Heck I wouldn’t even oppose a 5 year lease or something like that. I guess I could also just get the cheapest advertised lease deal and buy it out at the end; depending on price being reasonable.
Effectively, I want one for cheap with Uncle Sam (and California) kicking in their $7,500 + $2,000 to stimulate the Italian economy. Thoughts?
Get a mini se now, its current lease deal is within your target, by the time your mini se lease ended, your fiat should be ready for a good lease deal.
For number 2 - check their overage miles cost, sometimes it’s cheaper to do the low miles lease and pay the overage miles.
