What is your question?

How can a car that has the same vin, but different MSRP, isn’t there something wrong?

Does this $35 discrepancy make a difference for you? I guess one dealer did a dealer swap from the other and put the MSRP wrong.

I’m guessing it’s in brooklyn if we trust MBUSA inventory search as source of truth: Vehicle Inventory Locator | Mercedes-Benz USA

No really, just wanted know why. So it happens when dealer do a swap?
Would you give me $35? Lol
I know it won’t break or kill a deal, but $35 is $35

Are they in the same dealership group? Sometimes same car is listed in a bunch of dealers in the same dealership group.

Make your offer to the dealer that has actual photos. Problem solved.

It’s a typo and the difference has no impact on your strategy of knowing targets and making offers.

I actually can’t tell if you’re serious, and that is worrisome.

What do you mean? Both listing has photo

Why are you wasting time worrying about this? Make offers to both dealers, and you’ll realize where the issue lies (one of them will tell you they no longer have that vehicle and likely ask you if you are interested in a different stock #)

Guys, give me $35 and I’ll buy everyone here coffee

Different stock #, but same car

And? As you noted, no two cars can have the same VIN. So it is either typo on the VIN and not the same car, OR was a dealer trade and one needs to remove from inventory.

Assuming you are leasing, how much do you think this will change your cost over the course of the lease?

Like I said, it doesn’t kill the deal,
That’s what’s wrong with people nowadays, they don’t care about chunk change.

It’s not. Small changes in MSRP make very little difference to the total lease cost when percentage discount and all other inputs remain the same.

And even if it equated to a savings of $35: Why are you looking at EQS if $35.00 is worth so much of your time and brain space? Everyone who actually hacks understands saving both time and money, and the value of both.

This is my last comment on this thread because it’s not worthwhile.

You don’t even have a deal yet. As max mentioned, it has no impact on your strategy for researching target deal, and reaching out to dealers with offers.

Thanks for clarifying,

I do have a deal, on the calc it saves $1 lol
