My dilemma with the dealer is the manager says the bank won’t fund the deal below the RV - makes sense - any pros help how to structure the deal
MSRP $158,690
sale price $139,853.75 ($19,836 off)
rebate $32,500
Audi Care $1249 +1% RV bump
protection package $999
Doc fee $150
12/7.5k .00302 RV 69+1%
TX tax credit included
$658 DAS / 11 payments of $658 Mo
i am messing up the calc somewhere - i’m coming to $688 but the dealer ran numbers are $658

Either reduce the dealer discount on the deal sheet and get a check from the dealer or up the mileage to 10k/yr?
would be ideal but maybe unrealistic

youre only off by around $500 to get a fundable cap cost, just add a warranty or increase the price.
or tell them to not use rebates as cap cost reduction but upfront as “working cash”.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Isn’t he down by 4.7k?
Selling price 138.8k - rebates 32.5k = 106.3k, Residual is 111k

I Californicated this deal at LA County tax rate of 9.5% and it gets tripled to ~$1,900/mo
Included add-ons in the pre-incentive selling price making it about 142k.

I think it’ll be around 1k, tax should be monthly payment in your calculator.

You mean to pay $13,500 in taxes upfront? I didn’t change anything in the deal structure, just changed TX tax and fees to CA amounts and rate. Am I missing something here!

I was talking about this, your calculator tax rate option had selected selling price.

Yeah, you’re right, forgot TX does that! Now it’s not even double at ~$1100/mo.

Upfront taxes (such as tax on rebates) can swing a short term lease by a lot.
