Hello All. Probably a fairly unique situation here:
My lease on the 4xe ends Oct 2024, 30K miles lease and I already used the 30K miles. Now I have another car so no longer need to drive this one.
The lease was a one pay lease so it was fully paid till Oct.
Wondering if possible to return the lease now and get some money back maybe? Any advice appreciated.
So you used all the miles up ?
The Jeep is underwater?
And you want money back?
If you do a search, there is a post recently where someone return their jeep a couple days earlier n got hit with early return penalty, in this case the difference on the residual vs the actual mv.
It is a one pay lease so all remaining 5 months are already paid. // Yes, if give it back to Jeep now can recover some money would be better than let it sit for 5 months then give back to them.
Nope, no refunds. Your agreement is based on what is in the lease agreement. Maybe you can call and ask for goodwill… worth a shot.
You will also want to determine early return penalties.
Good luck!
Get a quotes to buy out your lease.
Ask the bank for your buyout.
If quote > buyout, you can sell it and get some money back.
Youre not going to get anything back turning it in early.
I see, OK. thanks to all.
It’s only 5 months and you already paid in full. Keep it as a 2nd car. Even if you put 3-4K miles using it as a 2nd car , the mileage cost is peanuts.
Warm weather is here finally. This is when you want to enjoy your wrangler and drop the top or take the doors off. No sense in just giving it back now.
That’s a great point! Called Chrysler financial and was told while there is no option to buy additional miles ahead of time, the additional miles charge at return is just 25 cents per mile. So will work just fine.
