Retired Service Loaner Lease Credit

,

Hi All

Just wondering what this secondary incentive box is on 2026 BMW’s, here it is for the iX.

Is this accurate? Or is this just another representation of the Lease Credit under General incentives?

You don’t get $7500 x 2 for a demo. I assume that’s your question.

yea I figured, just checking Ty

 Word to the wise  : I’ve been told by a BMW dealer that 2025 loaners are eligible for the full $12000 lease credit for the month of July… and I have a pretty good reason to believe him.

There aren’t many of those out there at this point, but if you can get your hands on one, man…

Which models and regions are the $12k lease credit for?

My sales guy said 2025 iXs. Last month that wasn’t true, but BMW went back to $12k in July. I did not ask if this was a regional thing, I only know that it worked in my absurd deal today. I’m actually slightly concerned that BMWFS might call the dealer in a few days and tell them they messed up and we have to re-work the deal, or something like that…:eyes:

They were eligible for $12000 in June as well. I see only a few loaners currently available at pacific bmw but good luck expecting a >20% discount on a ~8000mile 2+ year old inventory, I tried to deal with those arrogant pricks but they were the worst people to deal with.

I had 3 different dealers tell me the same thing; 2025 loaners do not get the $12k, instead they get the $7.5k loaner credit. The one I worked with today said that was how they saw it in June as well, but the programs in their system for July changed that, and now all 2025s get the $12k. Maybe it’s regional? Not sure.

My issue is finding a 2025 iX, things are gone

It shouldn’t be a local thing as that is a lease credit provided by BMWFS not a city/government incentive which you get qualified for based on your zip. If you need proof a loaner vehicle with $12000 + $2000 loyalty/corporate, let me know I have a dealership quote mentioning it with a quote date of June.

Yup, all the remaining one’s are held up by the greedy dealerships, not willing to work with you on discounts.

May I ask, what deal did you got? Also if you know of any more dealerships that still have loaner iX?

Well, I don’t know man, I got the same story from multiple dealers, and I think I read someone on LH here say the same thing. BMW’s lease programs have gotten pretty granular and complex these days in regards to loaners, specifically. There’s some weird rules with 2026 i5/i4s where if they were in service before a certain date, they get the 2025 lease credit, but they jack up the MF 3x, etc.

The dealer I signed with told me unequivocally that $12k was not valid on 2025 loaners in June. I was in touch with them on and off over the whole month of June. Eventually, they accepted my offer and agreed on a deal with $7500 + $2000 lease credits on June 30, but when I went to pick up it and sign they were like “You’re going to be really happy…” and then explained that the program changed in July and now it’s eligible for the $12k. I thought I had a good deal already, and that little bit of news turned into a pretty nutty deal. Dare I use the “U” word…? Maybe.

I’m going to wait a bit to post full details since, like I said, I’m slightly concerned this isn’t going to get funded. Might be overly paranoid but I’ve seen stranger things happen with car deals, for sure. Does anyone know how I can know for sure it’s funded? If the new iX shows up on my BMWFS account online, will that mean it was fully approved and funded?

FWIW, the calculator shows 12k and Pacific BMWs “lease special” on their loaner IX shows 12k lease credit. Their cars were all pinched in May 2024 so have only 2 years warranty. One of their loaners has damage on CARFAX but they still aren’t discounting it much.
