Replacement Options for '18 Forester Touring

I’ve been scouring the whole site looking for deals for a similar SUV before I buy out our lease for the '18 Forester Touring, 4 payments left. We love the car, don’t mind buying it out but if we can cash out $12k-14k, and fund a new lease for 36 months, basically a free upgrade. But couldn’t find anything but BMWs and sedans.

Would like to stretch out that $14k to 36 months, so budget of about $388 or max $450/mo on a new lease with a similar SUV pref with Adaptive cruise control, BSM, RCTA, Heated leather seats, decent MPG, reliable like the forester. What’s out there that I missed or is it really that dry???

Trying to maximize my options and not miss any opportunity before I buyout. :v:

It’s pretty dry as far as leasing goes.

Your best bet may be to buy/finance something that was known for good resale value even before COVID and chip shortages.

Something in the RAV4/CRV/Sorento segment.

If you can get a PHEV version and take the federal tax credit, even better.
