Ever wonder what the 740 drives like. Apparently they are less than $100 a day at Hertz now. I was just browsing around on their website, many of their previously luxury cars are going for less than $100. The Porsche are still going for $179, but that is way cheaper than what they are normally. Since there won’t be many things to do when we get out of the lockdown, maybe its time to rent one of those cars and drive it around for a day

I think the milage is limited to 75 per day, but great deal. I know it’s a different league of car but they have Camaro SS verts for 50 or so per day around dc. Might rent one if it’s ever sunny again and take the family on a grand tour of the mountainous (read fun) roads of rugged West Virginia.
oh man, reminds me when I used to rent their c6 vette zhz for $80 on Thurs nights in Manhattan 10yrs ago. Haha I tried to book a 740 in vegas this past January and it was about $250 on a Saturday even with a corp discount.

Do they only have these cool cars in warm locations? I tried to book in NYC area and they didn’t give me the option for any cool cars.
I am booking a 911 Carrera S cabrio off Turo next weekend for 229, which I thought was a good deal… maybe we need RentalHackr
jfk hertz has camaro ss or mustang gt listed for $55, $72 after fees. But those warm location get the cool cars for sure.
Yeah the mileage cap is the sucky part. I was also checking out Avis and Sixt, both had cheap cars too. If you want a C7, Sixt has them for I think $70.
I tried the luxury collection at Enterprise, no go.
You can see Turo hosts losing their shirts too, I saw Ferrari California for $240 a day in LA.
I would hoon that California all day long for 240 bucks!
Check LA Ferrari California. If we get out of this alive, I want to buy a Ferrari. I figure I should drive one to make sure i actually like it

man no sports cars or luxury cars at my location. I need to test drive some for longer than 10 minutes before I get my next car. Turo it is
They will probably reopen the state in early or mid may, I think you can schedule that far out. I wouldn’t do it now due to the attention. Although when I drove by Los Altos and Woodside the other day, we saw so many fancy Porsches driving around the mountains.
