Regional Incentives available for out-of-region buyers?

Looking at Audi Q5e and found one in the “south region” that includes a $750 rebate for south region only. I’m in IL so definitely not south region. Dealer says Audi will allow me to get the $750 even though I’m out of region. Can anybody confirm that is correct - my gut is that Audi will reject the deal if it includes that rebate and I’d rather know that now vs later.

NOTE that this isn’t the $7500 rebate for PHEV. It is an additional $750

Thanks

Is the $750 really worth it after the time & cost of travel and driving back?

How good is the deal in the first place?

Lack of local inventory means I’m traveling no matter what. So, yes, all other things being roughly equal, I’ll take the deal that is $750 better as it will pay for plane fare and costs of driving back.

Contact @AutoCompanion , travel to DC (or ship) and maybe save some money. The difference in dealer fees may cover broker’s fees.

Thanks - already made the attempt but no cars I wanted within AC’s territory.

SO, can anybody answer the regional incentive question?

I was told program is based on where the car is registered, not where the dealer is.

I have a Q5e I can possibly do a deal on in PA, but it’s a pretty high MSRP car.

Aren’t they all though?
