Recommendations for tall people?

The first time I split my pants getting down into my S90 cemented my decision to flip mine (that and the $3500 of positive equity that mysteriously appeared when Volvo changed their lease programs from Dec 17 to Jan 18).

This is my kind of thread.

Some people don’t understand the woes of the husky frame.

I always ask where your height is. I’ve got really long legs, but an average torso length. I’m never challenged for headroom, but legroom with good thigh support is a struggle. For vehicles that don’t quite offer the length, I look for lower seat pitch adjustability and less aggressive pedal angle. Here’s some vehicles I’ve driven that I find very comfortable.

For cars:

  • (current car) Panamera with 14 way or 18 way seats is fantastic
  • E-class sedan offers lots of adjustability and room.
  • Chevy Impala is the most comfortable non-luxury sedan I’ve driven

For SUVs/Trucks:

  • Ram 1500 and I’m sure most competitor trucks are in the same boat
  • Range Rover
  • Cayenne

Thanks for the suggestions !
Friend is long legged + wide shouldered , he’s fine with the headroom of most cars/suvs but struggles with the legroom, he had to move the seat all the back to be comfortable, but he usually has passengers in the back, so the goal is something with decent amount of rear legroom even with the front seat completely back.

Do you have Loyalty + Costco + Affinity?

Leases are only hackable to the extent that you qualify for all the rebates that make them hackable.

He does  !
And we are thinking about MDX too, he also stepped back a little about the brands so pilot/passport are on the list as well, but I told him that honda leases will prolly not as good as some lux brands in current market. Toyota leases are horrible, better purchase

In those segments there’s just no way today’s leases can touch the TCO of owning a Pilot, Passport, Highlander or Palluride.

Yea…cant imagine these family suvs get this crazy lol mdx has some good deals tho, was able to make it low 600s with 1st only DAS. Friend is going to have a test drive this week if he likes it we are signing!
can’t think of other lux brands  genesis aren’t good for leasing either, no jeep, qx60 maybe?

Which trim?

How about checking out the BMW X5 or the Mercedes-Benz E-Class? These bad boys got plenty of legroom and are super classy. Your friend will be cruisin’ in style in no time!

Tech sh-awd

Not from my experience… maybe legroom but shoulder/hip room seems cramped for the size of the vehicle.

Thanks for the recommendations!
We can try some test driving on these 2 this week, the only thing is x5 and gle are prolly gonna exceed his budget (mid 600s + 1st only das). can give it a try tho
