In the market for SUV / CUV when I got the following ad from Nissan. Clicked on it and it took me Nissan offers page.
State: NY - NYC area
$239 per month lease
36 months
$3,689
Includes $1,200 manufacturer rebate applied to the $239/month lease.
10k miles/yr
Payment Total: $8,604
Purchase value at the end of lease: $17,836
Car MSRP: $29,240 incl destination charge.
Net capitalized cost: $23,525 not including $650 non-refundable acquisition fee.
Prob about $379/mo on average when all is said and done and taking the down payment into account. Could do worse. You couldn’t pay me to drive a Rogue, but if someone I know needed a car … maybe,
That’s right, those extra cost seems to be around $2.5k. I will need to pay along the due signing, right?
I found a dealer that according to his email, he is going to honor that offer.
His response when I asked for formal quote:
I don’t think I would ever want to finance a Rogue, just need something cheap for now.
One question, why $379? wouldn’t I have to pay DMV fees and so on along with the down payment?
You can pay it at signing if you want. The result is an effective $379/mo whether you pay it up front or over time. You don’t HAVE to pay anything at signing.
(239 x 35) + 3689 = $12,054
$12,054 + 8.75% tax (I’m guessing here) = $13109
$13109 + $175 doc fee + $375 dmv (again, guessing) = ~$13,660
$13660 / 36 = $379/mo averaged
Just rough spitballing to get your head wrapped around total cost.
Appreciate it! Thank you for the breakdown. Your assumptions seems about right but asked the salesperson to confirm.
So I’m looking at around $5,295 in case I wanted to stick with the $239 month rate.
This is my first lease ever and judging by today’s market, it seems to be good. What do you think? I can’t find SUV / CUV anything like it.
Nissan’s site is getting hammered, I wonder if they accidentally sent out March’s promotions early.
Ok Finally found it, you must have a 2021 Rogue AWD
$3689 + $2000 TTL = $5689
5689 / 35 = $162
$239 + $162 = $401 for a $30k car…well it’s an ok deal.
Ends today BTW.
Not a great deal, an OK deal. Now you have to find a dealer who will honor it.
I"m with you on that my wife had a 17 Rogue hybrid and just simply merging onto to free way she was gunning it and i’m like is this thing gone move boy was it a snail. and the crappy CVT.
