Really struggling to find a 'deal' in this market. Looking for mid-luxury EV or PHEV for mid $600's/month

,

It’s not in Texas but they will lease to any state I’ve been told.

Since you are considering PHEV, 330e may be in your price range depending on how the lease structure would work in Tx.

As for what OP is looking for, a Stelvio is not an EV and $5k down is not a $399/mo payment.

Somehow I skipped over the PHEV part, my bad. Also in diving in that lease it looks like you have to be a current Alfa customer to get that price so I have misspoken. That wasn’t conveyed to me originally.

I might have missed it but why not a Q8 e-tron? Your goal of $600/month is not obtainable for a luxury SUV/cross-over in this market, especially if you want the comfort and build quality of the 2021 e-tron you have now. Granted the cars you mentioned are a level or two below the e-tron, but I think you need to adjust expectations. For your price range you either need to go to commodity brands like Toyota, or realize that we are not in a 0% interest rate environment…i.e., you will have to actually pay luxury prices to drive a luxury car.

They do seem to be interested in moving the Tonale, which is a PHEV.

Just posted a 330e inbound with a sweet discount and lender tax credit. :slightly_smiling_face:

Regarding the tax situation in TX.

Does being OK to pay one-pay lease change that calculation?

can you share the details on this one…

At this point I’m leaning towards either a BMW i4 lease which I’ve found for ~$600 with zero down, or a used 2021 or 2022 Polestar 2 AWD for ~$33K. These both seem to be the best value for what you get in the EV space right now.

Thank you!

Quick question: why aren’t you considering the VW ID.4 Pro S? Too cheap feeling?

Cheap i4 is truly a value in the current market.

@jldls dont post the same thing in multiple threads

What trim and what’s the MSRP on the i4?

Have you considered a Benz eqe 350 suv, or if you want to go for even less payments an eqb. Seems to tick all your boxes.

Yea tbh after having the Audi I’m a bit spoiled and want something that feels premium and is fun to drive.

the 35e with a few add-ons like drive assist and premium package. The same for the 40e seems to be possible in the high $600’s and may be the better ‘deal’ given range and 0-60 times.

We have one of each in the family.

The 40e is obviously the range king but the 35e is still VERY capable on long road trips.
