No.
This would be no “incentivized programs”.
No programs at all means there is no lease available.

Hi there,
Not sure if you’ve already seen the Edmunds Forum, but if not I’d recommend giving the forum posts a read. Good information from people trying to lease mustangs before. I am not familiar with ballon loans and if residuals are different but that might be an option.
when you negotiate the price of a vehicle, you wouldn’t do so in terms of a few $100, but in terms of a few $1000 off, especially if the vehicle is $40K+. Like I said, the dealer has already knocked off a couple thousand and is selling the vehicle much under MSRP. I’m sure the price is still negotiable—everything is negotiable, especially if they need to sell before the new year. I usually get the best deals on vehicles at the end of the year.
Thank you. I already checked and read through the forum.
It’s leasable, I checked.
And are chosing to ignore them saying it isn’t leasable?
I don’t know who “them” are, but I know who I spoke with.
You say you read through the edmunds forum. The edmunds folks there that have direct access to the leasing program data have stated that there is not lease support from Ford on the GT. That “them”.
Which calculator is this?
They also said no one has been successful with leasing the vehicle yet. I seen people try, but the payments were just too high, but so was the MSRP at the time.
It may have been on one of the ford dealer’s websites I visited.
It’s possible it may be a third-party bank, but you need to be very careful about who you’re leasing with.
Some of them will nickel & dime every real or imagined bit of wear and tear on the car at the end of the lease, and you’ll have no impartial way to dispute it.
Is all of this hypothetical? Have you reached out to the dealer?
Did you ask the dealer if you can lease the Mustang GT? I thought about leasing one before and from the info I gathered, Ford does not lease that particular car out.
Some cars can not be leased. Thats the point we are trying to make but you keep insisting you can.
I think this could be the case with a third-party.
Just to clear about this posting…
The overall idea was to present numbers of a possible lease and question its potential. The numbers are not set in stone, but just based on my own research. Yes, it is hypothetical and more so to get an ideal of what to expect if/when I purchase. I also spoke with the local dealer and yes, they are willing to lease the vehicle.
I understand that people are referencing the Edmunds website–however, you shouldn’t say something is impossible because several people on the Internet were not able to–there may be numerous people in the world (outside of the Internet) who may have already done this–but didn’t care to share their purchase info with the Internet. The Edmunds poster is only saying the car may not “lease well” and no one has posted a success story yet.
Just to be clear in the responses…
You have posted asking for input into feasibility and are getting responses regarding the feasibility.
Edmunds is saying no lease programs because Ford Credit will not lease one of these to you or anyone else. Edmunds doesn’t report what people have been successful with, they report the specific programs offered by the finance company.
There may be some 3rd party banks that will, but you’ll need a lot more information on those programs, if they actually exist, to determine if it’s even worth pursuing.
It also wouldn’t surprise me the least bit if the salesman you spoke with said they’d lease it because they were not aware of any GT specific restrictions.
If you want to evaluate the feasibility of your selling price target, the proper discussion is “what sales comparisons am I using the establish a target price”, not “I think I can go 10% off because I feel like it”. Use real data points; either completed sales or real offerings.
Garbage in garbage out. Without accurate info, its a fruitless effort.
It’s a good idea but ~60 posts later everyone is ready to see real numbers, no more hypothetical
