I know down payment is not wise, but would like to know if possible otherwise.
Thank you

How did you come up with 8% off discount for your target?
Iām hoping I can negotiate the price down to $43K
There never has and never will be a good lease on the GT. According to Edmunds forum moderators; āNo supported lease programs for the GT and In the years Iāve been a moderator, Iāve not seen one member post a successful lease deal on a Mustang GTā.
Yes, I checked Edmunds too and saw that no one has reported oneā¦sort of hoping to be the first
I have contacted well over 10 Ford dealerships, not budging on in stock Mustang GTās. Ecoboost yes, GT nope.
whatās the lowest MSRP youāve seen?
MSRP plus add-ons or market price adjustment. It isnāt the actual price of the car thatās the problem. Heck, I have seen a slight discount off, but when the add-ons start piling on, itās not a lease anymore. Better off getting a good rate and buying it.
What add-ons are being put on a lease?
Appearance packages, detail packages, pin striping, nitrous in the tires, you have a name for something, thatās also a package. Anywhere from $2500-5000. And throw in the market adjustment to boot.
I wouldnāt need any of that anyway. I car thatās local to me has all of the add-ons I need for $46K
My personal favorite from a Tampa area dealer when inquiring on a Camaro was a $4995 āmagic plus packageā, or something to that effect. I mean seriously, who comes up with this stuff?
I have 3 cars I have been wanting to get. Dodge Challenger SP, Ford GT Premium and the Camaro LT1. I have owned both the Challenger SP (2019) and the Charger SP (2020). Both leases, 2019 I was at $350 per month for the Challenger and 2020 for the Charger SP I was at $575 per month. Both zero down, zero due at signing. Since the lease on the GT is not possible, itās either buy it or move on.
lol magic plusā¦did they say whatās included?
The best is me saying I would not like that package and them saying next.
It was the usual paint/fabric protection type of silliness. In other words $5 worth of product applied to the car and just another way to hide dealer markup over MSRP without it looking that way.
MANDATORYš
That was my immediate cue to move on.
so they are forcing people to take add-ons now?
Iām thinking about hiring a broker to deal
Absolutely. Many dealers are doing that. Not all of them, but many are. They have the leverage to do so in the current market.
