I have a 2015 Mini with a lease that expires in Oct 2017. 15,000 miles left on the lease.
A friend would like to assume my Mini lease now. At the end of the lease, would a dealer lease the car back to my friend? Is that an option? This would be preferable over buying and financing the car.
No - best they will get is the chance to extend the lead 3-6 months (check with the finance company who own the lease)
Best do that transfer soon if they want it though I think you need to have a minimum of 6minhs left on the term for BMWFS to allow it and a $500 transfer fee
