Rav 4 Woodland trim - any thoughts

,

Sister is looking to buy or lease. How much better can she do?

No discount? Straight MSRP deal?

@Jrouleau426 to the rescue.

Looks like a sticker deal

If its local and its the right time frame, color, and trim thats a solid deal. Can someone do a light discount if you put in enough effort? Probably but I know on these its a pain to get the right configuration

For leasing these are AWFUL lease vehicles, definitely go with a different brand like Kia, Hyundai, Subaru, Honda, etc

Midwest won’t be worth shipping it to get the 750-1500 off msrp I can get. These are still too hot

Thanks guys! She said they’ve been sold before they hit lots. She has 800 plus credit and trade in. Just unfortunate that this exact trim/model is impossible to get discounted.

I’d consider alternatives if you just are looking for best deal, but if the person is dead set on the RAV4 its the going rate currently. I’d look at a CR-V Hybrid, CX-50 Hybrid, Forrester Hybrid, and maybe even the Tucson Hybrid or Sportage Hybrid for a little better bang for my buck. And if you can wait a few months, I’d put the Rogue e-Power Hybrid at the top of my list of things to check out.

How is $0 and $1500 the same payment on a lease?

Finance = Cars like: RAV4 ($750/month)
Lease = Cars like: Kona ($300/month), GLB 250 ($400/month), Outback ($440/month), C-HR (420/month), etc
Note: Numbers are just approximations (not researched), MSRPs on the car are very different.
