Ratefindr Mercedes Discrepancy?

Can any MB experts out there help out with some clarity on this?

On a 39/7.5k, Ratefindr has the residual on a 24 GLS 450 at 52%. Edmunds has it at 60%. Dealers are clueless it seems. Spreadsheets here have it at 52% but someone at a MB dealer told me that their bulletin posted it at 60%. They then said they were mistaken…

60% is what the 4/1 MB programs show for 36/7500 (and as such, for 39/7500). It is also what they show for 24/7500, 42/7500, 48/7500, etc. Clearly a typo in the programs, so a correction was most likely sent out.

Side note but somewhat related. It’s amazing how many salespeople out in MB land are actually clueless. A few times now, I’ve been asked by different SP if the deal I’m working on down south is on a car with 4matic. “Make sure”. Sir/Ma’am, they are all 4matic. They are not available in anything other than 4matic. “Are you certain? I don’t think that’s true.”

These are people tasked with selling the car they know very little about.

I think it’s the norm down south to be clueless, GM salesperson in Dallas was convinced that all their trucks are 4x4s and good when it snows; everything on their lot was 4x2 this back in 2021ish
