I’m not arguing to keep quiet and not tell. But I’m saying it may not be achievable everywhere. Region/state should be taken into account. Dealerships also know these.
In CT it was to get to 10% because there is also $2k state rebate than you lose by going out of state. So 15% off in PA for me as resident of CT won’t make a difference with 10% off AND state rebate. But someone could be stuck on the idea of needing to get 20% and won’t take a deal. Or be upset he got a deal with ONLY 10% while inside the state there wasn’t a better deal and hunting 20% out of state would be just a wash.
