Hey all, when I look up any Porsche model prior to MY 2024 I get an error “No Data Available”. Am I the only one or is there just incomplete data in the app for any prior year models?
Generally means there is no longer lease support for new vehicles of those model years.
The support for the MY23 basically ended months ago. PFS didn’t technically completely “stop” the support, but they did essentially kill most potential by reducing the programs.
Support for the MY23 may have ceased altogether now (I’m not sure).
Out of curiosity are you trying to see how the CPO leases are constructed?
If so, I’ve had the same curiosity… it just hasn’t been strong enough to exert the effort to figure it out.
I’ve never seen a publicly available calc for the CPO programs. They are generally much more complicated than your more typical lease on a new unit, as I’m sure you are aware.
It’s probably no more complicated than any other lease. Except each unit has a possibly unique dollar-based RV, so one cannot apply the universal rule of MSRP x %RV.
Right. The calculation (of the lease) itself isn’t more complicated, but the numbers to run the lease is heavily dependent on the specific unit.
Reaching the point of being able to calculate the lease is more complicated
I simply refuse to post a calculator for a CPO lease deal because as much as I love this forum and value the information I’ve gained here over the years, I know that if a CPO Porsche lease calc gets posted, one or many people will take it, think it can be applied to any Cayenne of any trim, (or even if they try it on the same trim posted) and start making insane offers to Porsche dealers that don’t actually work.
CPO lease deals are trim, mileage, and CPO status dependent with varying rates for different models as well. I view at as irresponsible to share them frankly.
As for OP, Josh, you have my number, text me if you need info for a 2024
agree it would do ZERO good 99% of the time
I was referring to a calculator in the sense that it inputs the values, incentives, etc.; the LH calculator will not work on CPO units unless you manually input (and know) the RV for that particular unit, for example. I haven’t seen one that is publicly available that is able to adjust everything.
Also, @teton-ac , Scott is quite good and knows his stuff (most of the time anyway ). I haven’t used him personally but I would vouch for him.
I think the point is though is that everything would need to be adjusted, RV would be different for every car and MF can vary too by model, other than that, it’s just the usual fields.
Does the same hold true for Audi?
I’ve never done one but I believe it is very similar.
Thx Scott! Didn’t realize you could do Porsche out here in BFE, good to know! It’s mostly curiosity at this point, more likely something for next year tbh (and I still have to get the wife a new SUV). But I’ve got the bug now for a Taycan CT, haha. (edited)
All great comments, thanks everyone for chiming in with good info to educate a newb. I love all manner of hacking, and it’s been fun learning the wayz of lease hacking
Also, I’ve just got to say this forum really warps one’s perspective… in a good way of course. I make decent money, but 3 months ago I wouldn’t have really thought about putting a Bimmer or Benz or Porsche in the driveway. Now though…
