I’m in the market for a new lease before the end of the year. I want a luxury SUV with a tow hitch so I’ve been highly considering the Range Rover Velar. I know since the car isn’t out yet there’s not much information to go off but I’m looking for some advice from the Hackrs before I commit. I’ve built the car online, $58,560.00 including delivery. I have the option of leaving an “refundable” $1,000 deposit and the car gets built in by spec and delivered to my local dealership without any obligation to buy. Should I go this route? If so, where show I expect my payment on a car of this price? I already understand there may not be much discounts since it’s a new model. Thanks in advance.
There is no way to tell what the lease payment is going to be until the car is out because it will depend on the residual and money factor.
But it being a Range Rover, there is a good chance it’s not going to lease well at all
Rover dealer here. Expect around $900+ payments with 5K down if you want to lease. It’s going to be huge rate mark ups on the Velar.
Lol might as well get a Range Rover sport for $900 then.
Advertised deal on the full size range is 1200 0 down
899 0 down for the sport
Hello… Whats the best you can do on a discovery sport model SE or HSE , 10 k miles per year?
Yep. That’s true. The new Discovery leases for $900+tax with 5K down (63K MSRP). RR Sport SE starts at $680+tax with 5K down (70K MSRP).
Can someone make sense of this for me please?
It’s a new model that will sell at MSRP and thus not lease well. Nothing can change that because Land Rover doesn’t need to discount it for it to sell
I’ll make sense of it for you. Just know if you see anyone in your neighborhood rolling around in a Range Rover Velar in the first 6 months they are the biggest ballers ever.
Look out!
I haven’t been searching since I have no choice but to finish out my current lease but a Land Rover dealership recently emailed me some numbers.
Thank you for sharing. Where is this lease?

Man these are basically Range Rover sport numbers and that’s a much more superior car.
I was under the impression that the RRS typically leases for $800-$1k/mo depending on how its equipped. I’d love to get into an RRS for $650/mo.
@rkinra Who/where do you see anyone saying RRS’s can be had for $650/month? $800-$1k sounds about right.
I was replying to Phantomcypher’s post above mine, where he says these are RRS numbers.
