You are correct, but the $350 is technically a “buyout” fee (not a disposition fee).
Just so we are throwing the correct terms around here. I believe this is why the majority of people on here think the buyout fee is the $395 vs. the actual $350. The incorrect fee is being discussed/applied. The disposition fee does not apply to a lease buyout.
Anyone dealt with ereg USA software? Dan Cummins is WAY off on their reg fee for my zip code in WA and they claim they can only use the figures this software spits out.
For context they’re charging me $197 in reg fees while the real estimate on WA dmv website is $800+.
You know I’m not an expert on this by any means but I would just go with it. Similar thing happened to me in WA, got charged only about $200, expected way more, especially in King county. Sure enough got full year registration with special plates starting with letter D. Could be something to do with the weight of the vehicle, it gets classified differently.
I’m pretty sure this is probably why Granger won’t lease them, and I believe they are capping the orders to one per year per person. As it’s obvious no one is buying a new one every 2 months for a legitimate reason barring having totaled the first one.
Just signed the finance contract at DC. I’m amazed at how little anyone knows about actual numbers on the contract.
I asked the finance manager a question about why the balance due wasn’t adding up on buyers order, he said he will call me back. 5 mins later he’s like we have removed buyers order because ccap doesn’t need it lmao. Which doesn’t even make difference at all because balance due is still used in other sections.
Based on the training document the sign and drive lease wasn’t looking right, pushed him on that and he legit said “i have no way of saying this without being rude but we can sell this truck for sticker or you can sign the contract as is”. All I wanted was for them to follow ccaps own doc but that’s too much to ask I guess
Wait begins to see if it actually funds or gets kicked back. My money is on latter.
Got it, I didn’t connect the DC to Dan Cummins. Thought you were talking District of Columbia. It’s truly mind boggling how incompetent so many of these dealers and finance managers are. I could never imagine being so negligent at my job and still having said job…
My experience has been a nightmare with DC. They completely messed up my contract for my 392 back in June. They had to unwind the deal and sign a new one after I got CCAP involved. In the midst of it all, CCAP reported a late payment and now my credit dropped a ton and I still haven’t gotten registration 4months later.
Don’t accept their BS, if the finance guy isn’t helping you ask to speak to someone higher. They have no clue what they’re doing.
Edit: In my case, the initial incorrect contract slipped through CCAP and they funded the deal. So definitely don’t rely on them on “fixing” whatever DC did wrong.
