Here’s the thing. The dealer advertised the price on their site like this:
$61,615 MSRP
minus $9,122 Dealer Discount
minus $7,500 National Dealer Cash (Stellantis lease credit)
= $44,993 Selling price
But when they sent me the lease terms, they told me the $7500 was included in the Dealer Discount. So the selling price was around $7500 more expensive than advertised. I don’t see how there can be any confusion about this, so I plan to tell them I expect them to honor the advertised selling price. Any tips on how to handle this?
Assuming they honor their advertised price, this would be the deal:
Its very common for Jeep dealers to post low ball deals on their websites and not honor them, they have been doing it for years. Many of them have low yelp reviews online because of it and they dont care, its just normal Jeep behavior sorry
I was looking at these for my nephew. I think you want to shoot for around 10-12k discount before the incentives. Should get you around the $300/mo mark. Cjdr dealers are the absolute worst, might be better off just paying a broker out west. I know there’s some good ones in the northeast but not sure about pnw
With very, very rare exception (see autoninja firesale of a few units today), 20% off pre-incentive is not really a realistic target.
Youll see some dealers advertising higher discounts because theyre lumping in the purchase only incentives or people are basing off of last month when there was huge dealer cash available.
I don’t know I found a dealer that was at 7k off pre incentives on their advertisements and seems like they will do another 3-4. I’ll update if we sign it still have to get the lease quote
I know the sales guy so I don’t think he’s jerking me around. They want to move these things and they have a bunch of inventory
