What documents are required from my roommate? Do they require my roommate to be presented at the dealership? If not, beside of Registration of my roommate’s vehicle, what else are required?
How does the dealership verify the same househood address of mine and my roommate? Do they verify it by Drive license or something else? What paperwork is needed?
Most likely the registration and insurance card will suffice to show the same address. A copy of the lease agreement will prove it’s a lease and not a car that he owns. I really doubt he’ll be required to be physically present with ID.
When you have all the negotiations finished over email, ask the dealership what documents they will need to see/copy at lease signing.
when i leased my chevy equinox, they needed a copy of my subaru registration and a copy of my monthly statement where i make my lease payments. dont know if they need to be in same name but i think they do.
