Helping a friend get her first car. She’s not considering a lease because she’s planning to drive this car for many long distance road trips.
This is the best deal I’ve received, and two other dealers said the discount is so aggressive to match/beat.
I have another dealer 80+ miles away saying he will beat any deal by $500, but he wants us to come in person refusing to put that in writing.
I think that’s pretty good imho, tell them you’ll sign if they drop the $695 protection package.

I’ve never been able to successfully remove the add-ons. Is it something you can really have it removed?
“I’ll sign today if you remove the $695 protection charge, or increase the discount to offset it.” You have to be willing to sign or walk.

That looks pretty good even with the $695 add on. The $30,935 is definitely MSRP? It happens to be exactly $1,000 over the price of a Crosstrek Premium with a moonroof and no other options.

Yeah, $30,935 is MSRP + Destination Charge + small accessories like cargo net.

It wasn’t easy to walk when I knew this would be the best price around my area, but I will try this time. Thanks for the advice.

Do this
yes otherwise go VIP route and add extended warranty at VIP pricing
I’m about to lease my 5th Subaru.
They never offer incentives and their VIP pricing must be directly in your name, unlike the domestic brands that all you need know is someone that works for the OEM to get employee pricing.
You are almost always going to be MSRP as they know if you don’t buy/lease, the next person in the door is going to, so they have very limited need to negotiate or come down on MSRP.
Here are some useful tips…
If you’ve leased or purchased a Subaru before, call them dir…
I think the deal being offered beats VIP pricing.
